Rex L. Campbell, 79, well-known for his news broadcasts and Sunday "Sound of Music" for Church-owned KSL Radio station, died May 3, 2000, in Salt Lake City. Brother Campbell, who worked for KSL Radio for 50 years, helped pioneer the KUED public television station in 1957 and served as its manager for 10 years. He is also known for his audio-recordings of LDS scriptures and LDS books.
Arnold R. Knapp, 89, a member of the Salt Lake Eighteenth Ward, Salt Lake Eagle Gate Stake, before moving in 1992 to St. George, Utah, died May 4, 2000, in St. George. He was a member of the Sunday School General Board, 1971-1973; and president of the England Bristol Mission, 1973-1976. He was director of Church International Public Communications, 1977-1978.
