Pertinent facts: Announced Oct. 30, 1998; ground broken March 20, 1999; open house held June 2-3, and 5-10, with approximately 28,053 attending. Dedicated in four sessions by President Gordon B. Hinckley on June 16, 2000, with 5,116 in attendance.
