Sept. 2 — Temple Square Concert Series: Del Parkinson, professor of piano at Boise State University, will perform Beethoven's "Appassionate" Sonata, Sonata in B-flat Minor by Chopin, "Danzas Argentinas" by Ginastera, and Liszt's "Rhapsodie Espagnole," in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission.

Sept. 8 — Family History Library Demonstration: "U.S. Quaker Research," Room 134/136, 2 p.m. Free admission.

Sept. 8 and 9 — Temple Square Concert Series: Winners of the University of Utah Summer Arts Piano Competition will perform in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission.

Through Nov. 12 — Museum of Church History and Art: "The Beehive Image: Symbol of Industry and Cooperation." This exhibit consists of dozens of objects that feature the beehive, everything from the brass doorknobs of the Salt Lake Temple to T-shirts and novelty items. Museum Hours: Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free admission.
