Oct. 21 Temple Square Concert Series: The Riga Dome Boys Choir of Latvia will sing a program of madrigals; "Songs of Innocence" by their accompanist, Aivars Kalejs; "The Lark" by Bernstein; and a group of Latvian songs; Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission. The choir will also perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on the broadcast of Oct. 22.
Oct. 21 Museum of Church History and Art Open House: "Valiant Pioneer Children." From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., children and their parents are invited to attend this day of hands-on learning in the Museum's newest children's exhibit. Children between the ages of 2 and 12 will enjoy the interactive displays, the "make and take" activity stations and other fun learning experiences. Free admission. The exhibit will be open through Oct. 14, 2001.
