Nov. 10 — Temple Square Concert Series: The Jack Ashton Family will display musical talents on a number of instruments, assisted by the Young Artist Chamber Players, which Brother Ashton directs; Assembly Hall, 7:30 p.m. Free admission.

Beginning Nov. 14 — The Family History Library is looking for volunteers for a free class in Danish genealogy for beginners. The staff will be testing new instructions in an hourlong class that presents a simplified approach to research. Classes are Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. and Thursday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. in rooms 134-136 of the Family History Library at 35 N. West Temple St., Salt Lake City. If interested, call Charlene at (801) 240-4734 for a reservation in the class.

Nov. 10 — Museum of Church History and Art Open House: "In the Footsteps of Joseph Smith." Photographs by George Edward Anderson and Scott Facer Proctor feature many of the Church historic sites at the time of Joseph Smith and the present. Gallery talks by curator Robert Davis will be presented at 7 and 8 p.m. Free admission. The exhibit will be open through Oct. 14, 2001.
