Chaplain compliments LDS students

HAMILTON, New Zealand — The LDS Student Association is having a positive influence on the Waikato University campus here — as is evident by the compliments the Reverend Tony Bretherton, the university chaplain and Performing Arts Centre fund-raiser, recently paid to the LDS students. He said they are "the first on my list when I need help. They are so well organized and a pleasure to deal with."

The Reverend Bretherton remembered the donation of $6,000 the students gave two years ago for the building of the new Performing Arts Centre.

Ngatai Smith, director of the Hillcrest Institute of Religion, adjacent to the university campus, said, "This group of LDS students has been characterized by a willingness to give instead of asking for benefits. They are to be commended."
