Dec. 27 — KBYU Channel 11: BYU Devotional given by Elder Russell M. Nelson on Feb. 2, 1992, "Jesus the Christ — Our Master and More," 5:30 a.m. and again at 11 a.m.

Dec. 31st on Temple Square: Temple Square will once again join in the First Night celebration in downtown Salt Lake. Sunday-appropriate music and movies are planned for all to enjoy. Michael and Jeff McLean, Peter Breinholt and the Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band will perform in the Tabernacle, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Free to the public. Other musicians will be performing in the lobby of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building beginning at 5:30 p.m. For a complete schedule call 240-2205 or the Visitor's Center, 240-2534.

Christmas Display — Museum of Church History and Art: This year's Christmas display includes two new paintings of Mary and the newborn Jesus. Other paintings depicting the birth of Jesus are also on display. Four creches will also be shown for the first time. Free admission. Museum hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Christmas Eve at 5 p.m. and at 11 p.m. on New Year's Eve. The Museum will be closed Christmas and New Year's Day
