Mongolia's ambassador addresses devotional

LAIE, Hawaii — BYU-Hawaii hosted the Ambassador of Mongolia, Jalbuu Choinhor, April 9-13. Ambassador Choinhor was a special guest at a university devotional with Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Seventy, then was the featured speaker at a forum luncheon on April 12. His visit is part of an effort from BYU-Hawaii to familiarize world leaders with the international mission of the university and the Church.

The ambassador said he appreciated the university community because "the guiding rules and principles are similar to those of Mongolia."

He said BYU-Hawaii is multi-national with its representation of 60 countries within its student body. "Eventually, the whole world will need the principles you are guided by," he said.
