To view ordinance information on www.familysearch.org you must be registered as a member on the site and be signed on.
Both those who have registered and those who have never registered on familysearch.org need to obtain their personal Membership Record Number and confirmation date from their ward clerk. Clerks recently received a message about this from the Church on the Membership Information software.
With this information, go to www.familysearch.org. Click on Sign On in the upper right hand corner of the home page. If you are a new user, click here to Register. Fill in all of your information on the page, including your Membership Record Number and Confirmation date at the bottom of the page. Click Save.
If you are already registered on the site, click on "Sign On" in the upper right hand corner. Enter your existing User Name and Password and check the box, "I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." Click the Sign On button. At the bottom of your information page enter your Membership Record Number and Confirmation date and click Save.
You are now registered and signed on as a member. Later you can sign on again using only your User Name and Password.
