Museum of Mormon History

MEXICO CITY — More than 11,000 people visited the Museum of Mormon History during 2002. The museum is a privately sponsored facility located across from the Mexico City Temple in Aragon. Visitors included members from many parts of Mexico, such as the states of Durango, Coahuila, Queretaro, Puebla, Guanajuato, Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Veracruz, Sinaloa, Sonora, Baja California and Nuevo Leon. The museum's mission is to recover, preserve and exhibit historical artifacts and documents related to the history of Mormonism in Mexico.
