April 29 — Temple Square Concert Series: The University of Utah A Cappella Choir, directed by Edgar J. Thompson, will perform a varied concert of religious, folk and contemporary pieces in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Elisabeth Nielson will be accompanist and Christopher Huntzinger, the organist. Free admission.

May 3 — Temple Square Concert Series: The International Children's Choir, directed by Kathy Sorensen, will give a spring concert in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission.

Closing May 3 — BYU Museum of Art Exhibit, BYU Campus: "Past Tense: A Contemporary Dialogue," featuring New York artists, all recipients of the prestigious Rema Hort Mann Foundation Grant. Museum hours: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Free admission.

Through Oct. 19 — Museum of Church History and Art: "With Every Stitch: Historic and Contemporary Samplers and Needlework." Museum Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 45 N. West Temple. Free admission.
