Personal Easter gift

LAKE OSWEGO, ORE. — Thousands of households here received as a gift a print of a painting of the Savior as members went door-to-door throughout neighborhoods April 12. The members also took the opportunity to wish their neighbors a happy Easter and invited them to attend Church with them. Fliers with information about ward worship services and an invitation to order the "Lamb of God" video were also distributed.

Approximately 50 full-time missionaries from the Oregon Portland Mission joined in to assist with the activity. "The goal was to personally deliver 5,000 of the special gift pictures," said stake President Terry Clark. "We want our neighbors to know how we feel about the Savior."
