New stake presidents

New stakes have been created in Idaho and North Carolina.

The Apex North Carolina Stake, which includes the Apex, Cary 1st and 2nd, Garner, Holly Springs, Raleigh University and Swift Creek wards, has been created by Elder John C. Taggart of the Seventy.

The BYU-Idaho 7th Stake, which includes the BYU-Idaho 7th, 8th, 23rd, 31st, 34th, 35th, 36th, 52nd and 56th wards, has been created by Elder Lynn A. Mickelsen of the Seventy.

Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in New Mexico, Utah and Washington.

APEX NORTH CAROLINA STAKE: (Oct. 19, 2003) Created from the Raleigh North Carolina Stake. President — Harry John Maxwell Jr., 48, principal systems developer at SAS Institute; wife, Patricia Kaye Peterson Maxwell.
