Helping Romona fire victims

ESCONDIDO, Calif. — Members of the Escondido 1st Ward Relief Society participated in a service project this December, helping those who lost homes during wildfires in Romona, Calif.

Several of those contributing to the project were evacuated during the fire and grateful they were able to return to their homes. Helping those in Ramona was one way for them to express their gratitude, said Sandy Davis, Relief Society president

"Seeing a need and filling it is what Christ would do if He were here in person," she said.
