Preserving pioneer cemetery

FRANKFORT, Ill. — Two dozen members of the Frankfort Branch, Joliet Illinois Stake, spent Memorial Day May 31 cutting down overgrowth and raking away debris from Union Cemetery in Frankfort, Ill. This marks the fourth Memorial Day that members have worked on this project. The cemetery holds the remains of Illinois pioneers who died between approximately 1849 and 1868.
