Cleaning California coastline

CAPISTRANO, Calif. — A piece of California's coastline was cleaned up with the help of 60 members of the Capistrano 2nd Ward, Laguna Niguel California Stake, during California Coastal Cleanup Day on Sept. 18.

Volunteers cleared debris and rubbish along the coastline and watershed areas. It has become a way for the Church and its members to make a visible, positive contribution to their community, and their efforts have been recognized by the city council. Full-time missionaries in southern Orange County also made the event part of their service commitment.
