Holding a child safety fair

CORVALLIS, Ore. — More than 100 Primary children attended a child safety fair Aug. 21 hosted by the Corvallis 3rd and 4th wards of the Corvallis Oregon Stake. The recent abduction of BYU student Brooke Wilberger in Corvallis prompted the idea for the event, which was an Eagle Scout project coordinated by Matt Wood.

Personnel from the local police and fire stations presented talks on safety issues. The children also participated in activities, including having their fingerprints put on fingerprint cards donated by the Wilberger family.
