President of state bar

MORGANTOWN, W.V.— Debra Scudiere of the Morgantown Ward, Clarksburg West Virginia Stake, was sworn in May 6 as the president of the West Virginia State Bar, which is the mandatory governing body for all attorneys in West Virginia. Sister Scudiere, a CTR Primary teacher, is a lawyer in the firm of Kay Casto & Chaney PLLC. A 1982 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, she serves also as the president of the Southern Conference of Bar Presidents and is on the Diversity Task Force of the National Conference of Bar Presidents. She was named recently as one of The Best Lawyers in America with a specialty in alternative dispute resolution.
