Elected leader at Girls State

POWELL, Wyo. — Kelly Lorimer, Laurel president in the Riverton 1st Ward, Riverton Wyoming Stake, was elected governor of Wyoming Girls State in June. She is the daughter of Robert Scott and Desiree Lorimer.

Kelly was elected in a vote of nearly 140 delegates attending the gathering at Northwest College in Powell, Wyo. The Riverton High School student has earned her Young Womanhood award, is a two-year member of the all-state high school choir, a blue-ribbon winner in oil painting at the state high school art symposium and has worked as a youth sports camp counselor for the past five years.
