New mission presidents

Eight more mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin service about July 1, 2006. Assignments will be announced later. The new leaders are:

Harold Call Brown, 62, Wasatch 5th Ward, Salt Lake Wasatch Stake; gospel doctrine teacher; former Area Seventy, stake president, regional representative, counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and missionary in the Northern Indian Mission. Managing Director of Welfare Services for the Church. Born in Coalville, Utah, to Lyle Heber and Thelma Call Brown. Married Penny Dalton, 10 children.

A gospel doctrine teacher, she is a former stake and ward Relief Society president and ward Young Women president. Born in Hurricane, Utah, to Maurice Dwayne and Mildred Reber Dalton.

David Rex Clark, 54, Twin Peaks Ward, Poway California Stake; stake president; former high councilor, bishop, seminary teacher, Scoutmaster and missionary in the South African Mission. Attorney and business owner. Born in Alhambra, Calif., to George Clyde and Marietta Maud Elrey Clark. Married Susan Bradford, six children.

A Relief Society teacher, she is a former ward Relief Society and Primary president, stake Primary and Relief Society secretary and counselor in a ward Young Women presidency. Born in Detroit, Mich., to Clive Lorenzo and Leila Mangum Bradford.

Clayton Flint Foulger, 57, Potomac Ward, Washington DC Stake; ward Young Men president; former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, high councilor, seminary teacher and missionary in the Western States Mission. Principal and owner of Foulger Pratt Companies. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Sidney William and Mary Francis Flint Foulger. Married Marla Ruby Price, six children.

A stake Young Women secretary, she is a former ward Relief Society president, counselor in a ward Young Women presidency, and Primary and Sunday School teacher. Born in San Diego, Calif., to David Sherman and Muriel Tenney Price.

James Franklin Henry, 60, Broomfield 1st Ward, Boulder Colorado Stake; former stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, stake Young Men president, bishop, counselor in a bishopric and missionary in the Brazilian Mission. Senior vice president, Hayward Baker Inc. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Alvin Eugene and Esther Fry Brimley Henry. Married Lynda Diane Decker, six children.

A counselor in the ward Relief Society presidency, she is a former president and counselor in a ward Young Women presidency, ward Primary president, teacher in Relief Society and Primary, and gospel doctrine teacher. Born in Delta, Colo., to Glenn Eldon and Mary Ione Sheilds Decker.

Brad Rolla Hobbs, 55, Twin Falls 7th Ward, Twin Falls Idaho Stake; stake president; former bishop, counselor in bishoprics, high councilor, stake executive secretary and missionary in the Brazil Porto Alegre Mission. Ophthalmologist. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Frayne Reginald and Shirley Whitehead Hobbs. Married Sandra Kay Petty, six children.

Mark Laurence Lewis, 46, Bath Ward, Bristol England Stake; ward Young Men president; former counselor in the England Bristol Mission, stake president, high councilor, bishop and counselor in a bishopric. Retired Police Officer. Born in Bath, England, to David John and Daphne Alma Armstrong Lewis. Married Linda Joyce Armstrong, one child.

Paul Thomas Peterson, 56, Leesburg Ward, Ashburn Virginia Stake; bishop; former counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, ward mission leader and missionary in the French Mission. Retired chief operating officer at Freddie Mac. Born in Taber, Alberta, Canada, to Burl Samuel and June Lorraine Waywell Peterson. Married Sara-Jennis Young Willey, six children.

Robert Wayne Winegar, 58, Chapel Park Ward, Layton Utah Holmes Creek Stake; ward Young Men president; former stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, assistant Scoutmaster, bishop and missionary in the Southern Far East Mission. Dentist. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Wayne Muir and Virginia Catherine Adams Winegar. Married Mary Ann Prigmore, five children.
