Charity foundation completes project

TWIN FALLS, IDAHO

The Charity Anywhere Foundation, operated by Gordon Carter of Twin Falls and other Church members, recently completed a work project in Tijuana and Agua Prieta, Mexico. The project included providing hospital beds, dental chairs and other medical equipment donated by Indian reservations and physicians, and then hauled to Mexico. Some 37 men, women and children, all members of the Church, came from Idaho, Utah, Arizona, and Mexico to work on the project.

One young man with the group, Kris Irish of the Twin Falls 1st Ward, completed an ambitious Eagle Scout project. He worked on a cement crew, a brick crew, a window crew and ran a painting crew. The group completed four homes, worked on many roofs, windows and doors. They distributed clothing in the community and baby quilts to mothers in the neighborhood.
