May 3 — Bells on Temple Square Echoes of Spring: conducted by Tom Waldron; with members of the Orchestra at Temple Square and Temple Square organists Bonnie Goodliffe and Linda Margetts; and two guest pianists, Susan Duehlmeier and Bonnie Gritton, will perform in the Tabernacle on Temple Square at 7:30 p.m. (www.lds.org/events or (801)570-0080).

May 3 —International Children's Choir and its more than 100 children and youth singers, directed by Dr. Kathy Sorensen, will give a program of international folk music and a broad spectrum of religious songs in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission (801) 240-3323.

May 4 —CES Fireside for young adults, married and single, ages 18 through 30, originating from the Marriott Center on the Brigham Young University campus, it will be transmitted over the Church satellite system on Sunday at 6 p.m. The speaker will be Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles (www.lds.org/calendar).

May 9 — The Intermountain Children Strings will perform a program of classical selections and folk tunes. Their founding director, Melanie Hoggan, and newly appointed director, Melissa Thatcher, will conduct the concert in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission (801) 240-3323.
