New mission presidents

Seven mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Their mission assignments will be announced later.

Jonathon W. Bunker, 50, and Susan Stewart Bunker, five children, Canyon Gate Ward, Las Vegas Nevada Sandstone Stake. Brother Bunker is a high councilor and a former counselor in stake presidencies, bishop and counselor, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Bolivia La Paz Mission. President/Chief Executive Officer, United Healthcare. Born in Las Vegas, Nev., to Wayne and Lucy Bluth Bunker. A ward Young Women adviser, Sister Bunker is a former counselor in ward Primary and Young Women presidencies, ward Relief Society and Primary teacher and ward missionary. Born in Las Vegas, Nev., to Alden Levi and Carma Nelson Stewart.

Jose Claudio Furtado Campos, 44, and Eva Maria de Melo Campos, four children, Horto-Florestal Ward, Teresina Brazil Horto Stake. Brother Campos is a counselor in the Brazil Fortaleza Mission presidency and a former mission secretary, bishop and counselor, high councilor and stake president. Coordinator, Church Educational System. Born in Mirandiba, Pernambuco, Brazil, to Antonio Arruda and Eunice Furtado de Sa Campos. Sister Campos is a stake Relief Society president and a former counselor in the stake Relief Society presidency, ward Relief Society president, stake and ward Primary president and seminary teacher. Born in ?uas Belas, Pernambuco, Brazil, to Jose Niltom Rodrigues de and Maria Luci de Melo Matos.

Edward Dube, 46, and Naume Keresiya Salizani Dube, four children, Mabelreign Ward, Harare Zimbabwe Stake. Brother Dube is a counselor in the Zimbabwe Harare Mission presidency and a former stake and district president, elders quorum president, branch president and missionary in the Zimbabwe Harare Mission. Coordinator, Church Educational System. Born in Chirumanzu, Zimbabwe, to Nzuwa Matarirano and Rosemary Alfredo Moyo Dube. Sister Dube is a stake Young Women president and a former branch Relief Society president and counselor, ward Primary president and seminary teacher. Born in Bindura, Zimbabwe, to Baureni and Anna Mhako Salazani.

Terence Elial Grimley, 58, and Melba Yoko Akagi Grimley, five children, Cedar Hollow 1st Ward, Lehi Utah North Stake. Brother Grimley is a high priest group instructor and a former bishop, high councilor, stake mission president, stake Young Men president, elders quorum president, branch president and missionary in the Singapore and Taiwan missions. Teacher, Alpine School District. Born in National City, Calif., to Owen John and Nedra Jensen Grimley. Sister Grimley is a ward Relief Society pianist and a former stake Relief Society secretary, ward Relief Society, Young Women and Primary president, ward family history consultant and temple ordinance worker. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Tamotsu and Yasuye Ota Akagi.

John Douglas Jesperson, 56, and Diana Marie Grob Jesperson, seven children, Sharon 5th Ward, Orem Utah Sharon Stake. Brother Jesperson is in a branch presidency at the Missionary Training Center and a former bishop, ward Young Men president, counselor in a stake Young Men presidency, ward mission leader and missionary in the Ecuador Quito Mission. Gerold Roth, 59, and Gertraud Schmidinger Roth, six children, Salzburg-Flachgau Ward, Salzburg Austria Stake. Brother Roth is a ward Young Men president and a former Area Seventy, stake president and counselor, bishop and missionary in the England North Mission. Real estate developer. Sister Roth is a gospel essentials teacher and a former ward Relief Society, Primary and Young Women president and ward Sunday School teacher. Bradley Jay Smith, 53, and Dana Donaldson Smith, five children, Manila 7th Ward, Pleasant Grove Utah Manila Stake. Brother Smith is a branch president at the Provo Missionary Training Center and a former bishop, high councilor, ward Young Men president, counselor in an elders quorum presidency and missionary in the Canada Halifax Mission.
