NOV. 13 — The Church History Museum will host Music for an Autumn Evening, part of the "Evenings at the Museum" series, at 7 p.m., featuring former Metropolitan Opera soprano Ariel Bybee, harpist Tamara Oswald and flutist Jeannine Goeckeritz, with Lloyd D. Newell, Mormon Tabernacle Choir announcer. For information, visit lds.org/events.

NOV. 13 — Pianist Melinda Baird and violinist Alison Dalton will perform selections by Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Brahms and Saint-Sa'ns; Assembly Hall, 7:30 p.m. For ages 8 and older.

NOV. 14 — BYU-Idaho choirs and orchestra will perform a new sacred work, "God's Everlasting Love," 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle. The oratorio-like work, with text by Elder David A. Bednar, was composed by Robert Cundick. Tickets are required; call 801-570-0080, or visit lds.org/events.

NOV. 14 — The Family History Library is offering free classes on American Indian research, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Family History Library.

SUNDAYS — "Music and the Spoken Word" is held Sunday mornings in the Tabernacle on Temple Square and features the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 9:15 a.m. for the 30-minute broadcast.

DAILY — "Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration," a film about the life and legacy of Joseph Smith, is available Mondays through Saturdays at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the Legacy Theater and in the North Visitors Center on Sundays. The film runs every 90 minutes starting at 9 a.m., with the last showing beginning at 9 p.m. For more information, call 801-240-1245.

DAILY — The organ staff and guest organists perform 30-minute recitals in the Tabernacle from noon to 12:30 p.m. and 2 to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday recitals will be performed from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Enter the Tabernacle at door 11.
