Calendar of events for Sept. 3, 2011

SEPT. 8 — The Women of Conviction Lecture Series will feature "Susa Young Gates and the Young Woman's Journal," by Lisa Olsen Tait at 7 p.m. in the main floor auditorium of the Church Office Building.

SEPT. 9 — "Three Saints in Zion," a program of inspirational true stories about three pioneers interspersed with old-time music, will commence at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall.

SEPT. 10 — The Family History Library is offering an all-day series of classes on Danish Research. Classes will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. To view the class schedule or get more information, go to familysearch.org or call 801-240-4950.

SEPT. 10 — Pianist Nicole Biggs will perform "An Evening of Lizst and Ferguson," to commemorate Liszt's 200th birthday at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall.

SEPT. 24 — The general Relief Society meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Conference Center. Tickets are required for those who want to attend at the Conference Center. It will also be broadcast via the Church satellite system. For more information on broadcast times, visit www.lds.org.

DAILY — Organists perform 30-minute recitals in the Conference Center at noon Mondays through Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays.
