New mission presidents

Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Their mission assignments will be announced later.

Bryson Caldwell Cook, 57, and Janice Lei Hall Cook, five children, Bedford Ward, Concord New Hampshire Stake. Brother Cook serves as a Sunday School teacher and is a former stake president, stake mission president, high councilor, stake Young Men president, bishop, counselor in a bishopric and missionary in the Massachusetts Boston Mission. Retired branch manager, Smith Barney. Born in San Bernardino, Calif., to Joseph Wolcott and Enid Caldwell Cook.

Sister Cook serves as a Relief Society teacher and is a former stake camp director, assistant stake camp director, Young Women president, seminary teacher and Cub Scout leader. Born in Phoenix, Ariz., to Dave Deon and Sharon Driggs Hall.

Federico Maximiliano Kahnlein, 42, and Sabrina Tundidor Kahnlein, four children, Escobar Ward, Buenos Aires Argentina Escobar Stake. Brother Kahnlein is a counselor in a stake presidency and is a former stake executive secretary, high councilor, stake Young Men president, counselor in a stake presidency, elders quorum president, family history consultant, Young Men president, counselor in a bishopric and missionary in the Arizona Tempe Mission. Sister Kahnlein serves as a Primary teacher and is a former stake missionary, Relief Society president and counselor, Young Women president, counselor in a Primary presidency, gospel principles teacher and missionary in the Argentina Neuquen Mission. Born in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Federico Alejandro Tundidor and Cristina Tizzano.

Brother Kusch is a counselor in a Young Men presidency and is a former stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, bishop and missionary in the Guatemala/El Salvador Mission. Sister Packard serves as a secretary in Young Women and is a former stake public affairs director, Young Women president, counselor in a Relief Society presidency, seminary teacher and missionary in the Uruguay Montevideo and Texas Fort Worth missions. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Charles Brent and Jane Ruth McBride.

Mark Lynn Richards, 53, and Karlan Kimberly Berrett Richards, six children, Karalee Ward, Sandy Utah Granite South Stake. Brother Richards is a stake missionary preparation director and is a former high councilor, stake mission president, counselor in a bishopric, Young Men president, elders quorum president and missionary in the England London Mission. Sister Richards is a stake missionary preparation assistant and is a former Young Women camp director, counselor in a Young Women presidency and counselor in a Relief Society presidency. Born in Tacoma, Wash., to Frank Edward and Irene Beth Berrett.

David N Weidman, 56, and Rachel Nielsen Weidman, six children, Coppell 3rd Ward, Carrollton Texas Stake. Brother Weidman is a counselor in a stake presidency and is a former high councilor, stake Young Men president, counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and missionary in the Japan Sendai Mission.
