Calendar of events for Sept. 2, 2012

SEPT. 7 — The Families Making Music Concert will feature the Neff Family (piano, harp and voice) at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square.

SEPT. 8 — Pianist Javier Clavere will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall.

SEPT. 13 — The Men and Women of Faith Lecture Series will feature "Faith and Sacrifice — The Founding of Pipe Spring, Arizona," by John A. Peterson at 7 p.m. in the Church History Library.

SUNDAYS — "Music and the Spoken Word," featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will be broadcast at 9:30 a.m. in the Tabernacle. Please be seated by 9:15 a.m.

DAILY — Organists perform 30-minute recitals in the Tabernacle at noon Mondays through Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays.

DAILY — Free guided tours of Temple Square and the Conference Center are available from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. To arrange a tour of Temple Square, please call 801-240-4872. To arrange a tour of the Conference Center, please call 801-240-0075. Walk-ins welcome.

DAILY — The film "Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration," is available Mondays through Saturdays at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the Legacy Theater and in the North Visitors' Center on Sundays.
