A new temple president and his wife have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.
Roberto Ocampo Reyes, 63, Ideal Ward, San Pedro Sula Honduras Stake, called as president of the new Tegucigalpa Honduras Temple. President Ocampo's wife, Argentina Martínez Santacreu de Ocampo, will serve as temple matron. He serves as the second counselor in the Guatemala City Guatemala Temple presidency. He has served as president of the Honduras Comayagüela Mission, regional representative, stake president, bishop and high councilor. A retired coordinator of the Church Educational System in Honduras, he was born in El Porvenir, Atlántida, Honduras, to Fausto Ocampo and Claudina Reyes de Ocampo.
Sister Ocampo currently serves as an assistant to the matron of the Guatemala City Guatemala Temple. She served with her husband as he presided over the Honduras Comayagüela Mission. She has served as a stake Relief Society, Young Women and Primary president, stake choir director and as an institute and seminary teacher. She was born in Azacualpa, Santa Barbara, Honduras, to Jesús Martínez and Rubenia Santacreude Martínez.
