Opening day of the 2015 Utah Legislature on Monday commenced with prayers from two prominent members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder David. A Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles offered the opening prayer in the Senate, and H. David Burton, former presiding bishop of the LDS Church and current chairman of the board of the Utah Transit Authority, offered the prayer in the House.
