A thought from the scriptures

"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. – Isa. 53:4, 5"We have just about all we can do to cope with each day," Elder Paul H. Dunn, then of the Presidency of the First Quorum of the Seventy, remarked at general conference in April 1979.

"Oh, the pressures and frustrations may be small ones sometimes. . . .

"And for each of us there may be times when we have to cope with real tragedy, real opposition. . . .

"The message of the century is: God really lives. Jesus is the Christ.

"You can't cover up who you really are before His penetrating gaze.

"Whoever you are, however you are, He'll take you as you are if you are willing."
