The largest spring semester enrollment at Ricks College has been achieved with the registering of 7,698 students – an increase of 107 more than for the same period a year ago. Ricks' spring semester began Jan. 7.
It is the sixth consecutive time enrollment for the spring semester has topped the previous year. After a steady increase in spring enrollment over six years from 1978 to 1983, enrollment briefly dipped by about 300 students in 1984 and 1985.In addition, some 216 students are taking late afternoon and evening courses. These figures compare with 7,795 regular and 237 alternate-entry students last fall.
Students come from every state and 35 foreign countries.
