Winnona and David John

Married 70 years ago on Aug. 28, 1929, in the Salt Lake Temple. They have lived and worked in the Shelley, Idaho, area, where he was a farmer. He served as Sunday School superintendent and assistant in the high priests group leadership. He rode in the Shelley Russet Posse, and helped organize a retirement organization chapter in Shelley. She worked in the Primary, Young Women and Relief Society, and enjoyed quilting and crafts. After they retired from farming, they spent their winters in Overton, Nev. Members of the Shelley 5th Ward, Shelley Idaho West Stake. Parents of four children, they have 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Aubrey H. and Eleanor Steward Parker

Married 70 years ago on Sept. 7, 1929, in Santa Barbara, Calif., and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1933 after she was baptized into the Church. They lived in Logan, Utah, where they owned a blinds and floor-covering store. He also had a pilot's license and owned an airplane. He served as bishop in three wards and three times as high councilor. She served on the stake Primary board and as counselor in the Relief Society presidency, and has been a specialist at the Logan Genealogy Library for 18 years. They served a full-time mission in Colorado and were workers in the Logan Temple. Members of the Providence [Utah] 10th Ward. Parents of four sons, they have 24 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
