Sister Frances Glick, an inner-city stake missionary, and I were gingerly making our way through the construction on North Temple to do endowments at the Salt Lake Temple. As we crossed the street, I said to her that we should talk to the construction workers and convert them. Just then, one of the orange-vested young men in the middle of the street looked up and called, "Hi, Sister Glick. How are you?"
She answered. I grabbed her arm and said, "I need to hear this story." Sister Glick, in her delightful Spanish accent, told me. "I see him, and I give him my card. He is now on the third discussion. I tell him he needs to go to the temple, and he tell me he will go with me to the temple when he gets baptized." It is a delight to work with a missionary as dedicated as Sister Glick. — Pennie Kirby, Inner-City Mission, Salt Lake City, Utah.
