Calendar of events

Jan. 17 — Museum of Church History and Art: Children visiting the Museum on Human Rights Day, Jan. 17, will be entertained by Museum docents performing at least five different puppet shows in the Museum galleries. Each show will feature different kinds of puppets. The puppet shows will be ongoing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are not required and the puppet shows are free of charge. Human Rights Day is a school holiday.

Jan. 18 — Family History Library demonstration: "PAF 4.0: Photos, Videos, Slide Shows and Audio," Room 134/136, 7 p.m. Free. Located at 35 North West Temple.

Jan. 20 — BYU World Arts Concert Series: Asian Arts (Music and Dance of China) will be presented in the West Leid Gallery (BYU Museum of Art, North Campus Drive, Provo, Utah) from 7 to 8 p.m. Free admission. Call (801) 378-ARTS for more information.

Through Feb. 13 — Museum of Church History and Art exhibit: "Practicing Pure Religion: Latter-day Saint Welfare and Humanitarian Service." Exhibit tells the story of Latter-day Saint welfare, humanitarian service efforts. Free admission. Hours: Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., 45 N. West Temple, Salt Lake City.
