Married 70 years ago on Dec. 22, 1930, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a general contractor and building inspector for the state of Utah. Both held many callings in the Church. She has done handwork and is a quiltmaker. They lived for more than 60 years in the Cottonwood area of Salt Lake City, where they are members of the Cottonwood 11th Ward, Salt Lake Cottonwood Stake. Parents of five children (four living), they have 18 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandsons.
