Just a few days into the year 2000 my husband had to fly to Salt Lake City unexpectedly to be with family members due to a death in the family. Because of work commitments I wasn't able to go with my husband. Our children are teenagers and understood the situation but we all missed him. During home evening there was an unexpected knock at the door. There was Callum, a 5-year-old from our ward, with the rest of his family following behind. Callum presented me with a plate of chocolate krispies. This young family lifted our spirits in more ways than they had planned. I am so grateful for these parents who teach their children about compassion and service.
