Ola Dickson Wilcock, 92, a member of the Young Women general board from 1966-1972, died June 10, 2002, in Bountiful, Utah. She was a member of the Church's Instructional Development Committee from 1978-1980, during which time she helped write the scriptures in story form for children. She helped establish Kamp Kostopulos for children with disabilities.
Lyman Sidney Shreeve, 87, former president of the Uruguay/Paraguay Mission, died June 5, 2002, in The Woodlands, Texas. Brother Shreeve was the first president of the Bogota Colombia Missionary Training Center and the Buenos Aires Argentina Missionary Training Center. He served as a United States diplomat for the U.S. Information Agency from which he was awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award for meritorious service in bringing better understanding between the U.S. and Latin American nations.
