April 16 — Temple Square Concert Series: The Salt Lake University Institute Evening Choir will sing a program of varied religious, folk and Broadway pieces in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m.. The choir is directed by Richard Decker and accompanist is Kerrin Gates. Free admission.
April 18 and 19 — The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square will perform Johannes Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem for their Easter Concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. Free tickets are required for the concert and are available at the Conference Center ticket office (inside door 4) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and on the internet – www.lds.org/events.
Through Sept. 8— BYU Museum of Art Exhibit, BYU Campus: "Past Tense: On the Road with C.C.A. Christensen: The Moving Panorama," depicting the religious history of the world from Adam to the life of Joseph Smith as well as the pioneers who entered the Salt Lake Valley. Museum hours: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Free admission.
