Driving rain, snow and unseasonable cold seemed incongruous with the brilliant blossoms, greenery on and around Temple Square and the Conference Center block during conference weekend.

The contrast seemed to symbolize the peace and spiritual renewal of general conference in stark relief against the turmoil of war and other problems worldwide.

Crisp showers make crisp flowers, and despite inclement weather, members attended from around United States and many other countries.
