Fighting weeds in Dragon Garden

NEWCASTLE EMLYN, Wales — Members in Newcastle Emlyn chose to tidy up the grounds around the town's castle — which dates back to about 1240 — instead of watching the Rugby World Cup Final, in which England picked up the title Nov. 22.

An area known as the Dragon Garden had become overgrown to the point that the outline of the dragon and its colorful plants were obscured. Town councilor Peter Lewis was quoted in the South Wales Evening Post, saying, "The weeds get washed in when the river floods and it's a bit of a struggle to keep them under control. It's great to have members of the Mormon faith taking care of their community like this."
