International programming competition

PROVO, Utah — A computer programming team from BYU will attend an international programming competition after placing first at the Association for Computing Machinery Rocky Mountain Programming Contest held at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

In addition, three other BYU teams placed in the top eight at the Nov. 15 event, one of five Rocky Mountain regional sites for the competition.

The top BYU team consists of seniors Michael Bailey, Ivan Andrus and Matthew Reeder.
