ELK RIDGE, Utah — The family of Garrett Bardsley — a 12-year-old boy who disappeared while camping in Utah's Uintah Mountains last year — is asking for volunteers to assist with a three-day recovery search Aug 4-6.
Garrett disappeared Aug. 20, 2004, near Cuberat Lake in Summit County while camping with his father and Scouts from his Salem, Utah, ward. The disappearance prompted a massive search for the youngster. Efforts to find Garrett have been unsuccessful. The Bardsley family remains determined to recover their loved one and is appreciative of any help others can offer.
Anyone able to assist with the Aug. 4-6 search is asked to register on the Web site www.findgarrett.org. Additional information is also available at this Web site.
