To be inducted as fellow

VICTORIA, B.C. — Dr. John Borrows, second counselor in the Victoria British Columbia Stake presidency, has been recognized by the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) Academies of Arts, Humanities and Sciences. A professor of law at the University of Victoria, he will be inducted as a fellow of the society at a Nov. 17 ceremony in Edmonton, according to the Saanich News.

The professor holds the Law Foundation Chair in Aboriginal Justice at the university and was cited as "the leading aboriginal legal academic in Canada," according to the newspaper.
