F. Michael Watson

Family: Born March 9, 1943, in Spring City, Utah, to Frank C. and Genniel Baxter Watson. Married Jolene Mann Sept. 3, 1965, in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of 12 children: Michelle (Larry) Thomson, Kevin M. (Jolie), Thomas D. (Becky), Brent M. (Cami), Ryan D. (Jodi), Jason F. (Taralie), Stephanie — deceased (husband Brad West), Amy Orgill, Clark B. (Shellise), Trevor J. (Barbara), Lindsey, and Holly; 36 grandchildren.

Education: Earned a bachelor's degree in business and office administration from Utah State University.

Employment: Secretary to the First Presidency (1986-2008), assistant secretary to the First Presidency (1972-1986), assistant secretary and secretary to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles (1970-1972).

Military: Served in U.S. Army (1966-1969).

Church service: Full-time missionary in the Northeast British Mission (1962-1964), branch president, elders quorum president, stake mission president, bishop, stake president, and sealer in the Bountiful Utah Temple.
