The following new temple president and matron have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in November.

Meli U. Lesuma and Irene L. Lesuma

Meli Ulayawa Lesuma and Irene Louise Lobendahn Lesuma, Laie 2nd Ward, Laie Hawaii Stake, called as president and matron of the Suva Fiji Temple, succeeding President S. Anil Bhan and Sister Kanisia R. Bhan. President Lesuma is a resource center specialist and a former stake presidency counselor, bishop and volunteer assistant temple recorder. A retired academic internship director at Brigham Young University–Hawaii, he was born in Nakawaga, Fiji, to Timilai Kuboutawa Lesuma and Asenaca Dulena Lesuma.
Sister Lesuma is a ward Primary president and a former stake Relief Society presidency counselor and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Suva, Fiji, to Harry Lobendahn and Emma Lobendahn.
