Australian youth volunteer with Salvation Army

Youth from the Sydney Australia Harbour Stake spent the morning of May 26 working with the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal Doorknock as volunteers.

Wearing yellow "Helping Hands" vests, the volunteers spent the morning raising funds for a variety of services, including providing shelter for the homeless and addiction recovery counseling.

Lieutenant Brad McIver of the Salvation Army said he was "deeply grateful" for the support shown by the Church and that their work would make a "tangible and meaningful difference" to the lives of those in need.
