9. Temple Square renovation update: 1st base isolator now installed, plaza to partially reopen June 1

The first of 98 base isolators have been installed as part of the ongoing Salt Lake Temple and Temples Square renovations. The base isolators are designed to help stabilize the temple in case of a seismic event. Also, the plaza next to the Church Office Building is scheduled to partially reopen on June 1.
