This week on social media, Church leaders shared the 2024 youth theme, the power of a person understanding their true identity as a child of God, and the central role Christ has in salvation.
Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles shared: “In addition to faith in God, anxiety about our true identity has also been challenged throughout recorded history. But the answer has always been the same. We are all spirit children of the same loving Heavenly Father.”
The Young Women general presidency — President Emily Belle Freeman, Sister Tamara W. Runia and Sister Andrea Muñoz Spannaus — posted a video talking about the 2024 youth theme.
Are you ready for this?
We are thrilled to share with you the new youth theme for 2024!
“I am a disciple of Jesus Christ” (3 Nephi 5:13).
There are so many things to love about this theme. We’re sharing a few of our favorites in today’s video.
We also want to share with you a really exciting event planned for the new year.
SAVE THE DATE for January 28 for our first-ever worldwide discussion on discipleship.
We’ll each gather with our ward or branch, just like we did for the worldwide testimony meeting, to discuss what it looks like to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
We can’t wait to kick off the new theme with you and focus on discipleship in 2024!

Sister Amy A. Wright, first counselor in the Primary general presidency, said, “Because of Jesus Christ, we can become partakers of all that the Father hath.
“I testify of the miracle of His birth, the sacredness of His ministry, the holiness of His message and the divinity of His mission that not only succors, heals, redeems and exalts but also enables us to do more and be more than we could possibly do and be on our own.”
Merry Christmas!!!What a beautiful time of year! I love the sights, the smells, and, most specifically, the sounds of Christmas. One of my favorite Christmas songs is “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.” This is a song that is filled with profound doctrine.
I particularly love the second verse:
“Hail the heav’n-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all he brings,
Ris’n with healing in his wings.
Mild he lays his glory by,
Born that man no more may die;
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
Hark! The herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King!”
Christ did not just come to rule as King of kings but to give His kingdom away. Isn’t that extraordinary!
Because of Jesus Christ, we can become partakers of all that the Father hath.
I testify of the miracle of His birth, the sacredness of His ministry, the holiness of His message, and the divinity of His mission that not only succors, heals, redeems, and exalts but also enables us to do more and be more than we could possibly do and be on our own.
God be thanked for the matchless gift of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ!
Merry Christmas!!!

As a part of sharing a Primary song, Sister Tracy Y. Browning, second counselor in the Primary general presidency, asked, “How has offering kindness blessed your life?”
Kindness begins with me! This is such a great reminder that if we are seeking more kindness in the world, we need to be the source behind it. We can be the first ones to offer forgiveness and a kind heart, and we do so because the Savior asked us to.
How has offering kindness blessed your life?
