Here’s how to get a ticket for the Jan. 22 recording

Youth, parents and youth leaders who live near Salt Lake City are invited to attend the recording of a worldwide devotional for youth with Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

The recording will be Sunday, Jan. 22, at 6 p.m. in the Conference Center on Temple Square. A ticket is required for admission.

The devotional — which will kick off the 2023 youth theme — will be broadcast Sunday, Jan. 29, at 4 p.m. Mountain Time.

How can I get a ticket?

Beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, general admission tickets to the recording session on Jan. 22 will be available to reserve. A user may request a maximum of 20 tickets at this link.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 22. Attendees must be in their seats by 5:30 p.m. for recording instructions. No late admissions will be allowed. This is a recording session that may go as late at 8 p.m.

Parking

No public parking will be available at the Conference Center. Those reserving tickets for the recording session are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation due to construction congestion.

How to watch the Jan. 29 devotional

Youth are encouraged to gather with their youth groups or families to watch the broadcast on Jan. 29. It will be available on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, the Gospel Library app, Gospel Media, and the Strive To Be YouTube channel.

The youth theme for 2023 is “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13). It will be the focus of For the Strength of Youth conferences and can be used in weekly activities, camps and Sunday lessons.
