Two full-time missionaries shared the gospel message in a unique way on Sept. 24 by agreeing to be interviewed on a local radio station in Hobart, Tasmania, according to the Church’s Pacific Newsroom.

In the radio segment, Australian Broadcast Corporation Radio presenter Joel Rheinberger explained that he met Sister Danielle Matheson and Sister Elise Jones near the ABC building as they were balancing their phone on a fountain to record themselves singing.

The two harmonizing sister missionaries “had voices like angels,” Rheinberger said. But instead of uploading their video to TikTok like other youth their age, the pair were creating a music video to share as part of their Church service.

Sister Jones, from Washington state, and Sister Matheson, from Queensland, Australia, both answered questions from Rheinberger about their missionary service, including what a typical day looks like for them and life skills they are learning by serving far from home.

To conclude, the sister missionaries sang a rendition of “I Am a Child of God.”

In a Facebook post sharing the radio segment, Blanche Sayers commented that she accompanied the sisters for the interview. “The Spirit was so strong as they spoke and sang. It brought tears to my eyes to hear them share their sweet testimonies in words and music,” she wrote.
